In June of 2000, Vijay Ram brought together a group of trained remote viewers to start a practice group in the San Francisco Bay Area. After exploring various RV methodologies, the group realized that to take their work to a higher level, they needed to learn from the original military personnel who helped develop the process. Vijay arranged to have one of the most respected viewers of the original program, Lyn Buchanan, come to Bay Area to teach the group. It was a stellar success and the group went on to take additional advanced and specialized trainings with Lyn. Since then, members have also taken training from other respected military viewers such as Paul Smith.
In 2004, the group hosted the national CRV conference in Concord, CA.
It was a great success and allowed members to meet and exchange ideas
with trained CRVers from all over the country. In 2008, a bi-yearly mini-marathon
weekend event was introduced in which viewers spend two full days doing
an intense viewing schedule and reviewing the CRV process. This event
has provided some of the biggest visible improvements to each viewer's
current skill level.
In its almost decade-long existence, the group has focused on developing
each individual's skills, exchanging ideas and techniques, performing
regular reviews of the CRV process, presenting talks on topics relevant
to remote viewing and experimenting with innovative ideas. Most importantly,
however, is that the meetings are characterized by a truly supportive
and positive atmosphere. We want to help each other succeed and progress
in this amazing skill.
We are a small group at present and our members are primarily working
professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area in fields spanning such areas
as psychology, computer animation, medicine, business management, etc.
